IHOP
January 19, 2009. Day Nineteen. Monday. Today was the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and I didn't venture into the world from the house except to take the family to IHOP (International House of Pancakes) with a gift card. I left a tract with the waiter.
I talked to Earl for about an hour and a half about eternal security and God's worship. He grew up in a Missionary Baptist, but now has no church because he takes long trips between California and Arkansas. We might see him in our Wednesday night service.
Pastor, what do you know about Missionary Baptists, besides the eternal security and worship issues?
Those are the two major issues, David. After many years, it seems to come back to eternal security and worship. Those two issues are related to Christology. The Jesus of the Bible saves forever. If we don't know Who He is, we will also often present to God something not in line with His nature.
I got lots of learnin when I was in cemetery. I also gots books I try to read. I has preecht throo most of the books of the Bible spositorally. I is marreed and has 4 youngins---3 is gurlz. Me am indipendint Babtist. Pleeez reed my blog.
