Stanford Rejection

January 10, 2009. Day 10. Saturday. I was walking quickly across the Stanford campus (my son was there with a trombone thing and I gave the ride) down in Palo Alto, convicted about evangelizing. People speed around that place with very little lingering (at least on this occasion). I pulled out a tract, offered it to a lady, and gave her an invitation to salvation that she abruptly rejected.

  1. I talked to a few door to door yesterday. Not many were very interested, but I had the opportunity to preach the Gospel to a some. Later on, my wife and I visited a good contact from this past Wednesday night. She's still very interested; hopefully we can start a Bible study with her soon. She said she would even like to come to church with us this morning! We'll see how it goes.

Her name is Michelle. She was still very interested. Hopefully we'll be able to start a Bible study with her soon. She said that she would like to come to church with us this Sunday morning. 3. Mr. Huppert and I talked to a Sikh lady, Nadah. I told her that there is one God. Interestly though, she believes her religion because she believes it, not necessarily because of family. She didn't have much time, but we told her the reason why the Bible is the truth and who Jesus is and got her to think about what would happen to her after she dies. We also talked to Michael about how anyone can know whether he's saved or not.

I talked to one of my contacts, Ally, and her boyfriend, Dante. I talked to Dante about the gospel. The door is still open for both of them. I'll see what happens.
